LG Rumor Case

So last night I stopped by the Sprint kiosk at the mall to see if perhaps they had the carrying case for the phone yet. The one in South County Mall did (while the Galleria during the day did not).

First, this is a cheap case and if you drop your phone a lot, like me, I don't think it's going to hold up very well. It's better than nothing and that's about it.

Second, I personally find these to be ugly.

Third, as of right now they are only available in the red. Oh I'm sorry, Dark Cherry, as they call it. I don't want a red phone or a red case. I don't want it to stick out or be that much noticeable hanging on my hip

Fourth, it comes with a top, middle, and back case. The top is red, the middle portion that covers the keyboard is black and you have the option of black or red for the back case portion. The back of the package states it has "interchangeable color plates" and all that refers to is the back case.

Fifth, the back case does have a knob that will slide into a belt clip.

Sixth, at the kiosk it was selling for $29.99 but on-line here you can buy it for $19.99 + S&H. They still are only offering the red at this time.

Seventh, if you really hate this your only other choice right now is to go with a pouch case that will fit the rumor. Again, if you're like me though a body glove type case works better for the rough handling of the phone.
