We Are Almost Marshall

A van carrying a Canadian high school boys' basketball team collided with a truck Saturday, killing seven students and the coach's wife on their way home from a game. The nine senior varsity players - accompanied by their coach, his wife and their daughter - were minutes from reuniting with their families when the team's coach lost control of the van.

This is a horrible story no matter how you look at. While I feel bad for the friends and family of the lost ones it's got to really suck being the coach. Whether or not he could have prevented the accident, I'm sure this is something he'll feel guilty about the rest of his life. My heart goes out to him.

On a brighter note though...

at least Canada still has The Star Wars Kid.
